Our Story

Established in early 1994, Golden Maya Industries Sdn Bhd manufactures and supplies cubicle switchboards for both local and international use. We have delivered top quality products and services for decades to industries ranging from Industrial to Commercial Buildings, Shopping Centers, Hotels, Residential Premises, Oil & Gas Industries, Factories and many more.

Started with a humble beginning, we offered sub-contracting service for the manufacturing and supply of switchboards. Poised for greater heights of achievement, Mr. Lee Kouk Boon and Mr. Giok Chung Kit joined the company in 1995. With the new synergy created, we embarked on a transformtional journey to upgrade our business capabilities by acquiring manufacturing license from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) & Jabatan Keselamatan Dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan Malaysia (JKKP) in 1997.

Following which, we are registered as licensed contractor under Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia and registered supplier of Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) in 1998. Today, we are proud to be full licensed switchboard maker offering complete services from design, prototyping, manufacturing, testing to installation of switchboards.

Based in Malaysia, we supply our services locally and through contractor exportation, we supply our products internationally to countries like Australia and South Africa. In compliance with the International IEC standards, GOLDEN MAYA INDUSTRIES obtained the ASTA Certificate in 2019. GOLDEN MAYA Industries is now listed in the World's market as one of the full ranged ASTA CERTIFICATED manufacturer, accepted by the Malaysian market, including the JKR, TNB and the European market.

With a view to serve the dealers and purchasers better and more efficiently in East Malaysia, the Company had decided to set up a branch in Kuching, Sarawak in the year 2014. The East Malaysia branch’s main activities comprised, inter alia, the sales and services of all kinds of switchboards/ distribution boards; provide effective after sales maintenance services; fully supported by our Main Company in West Malaysia. The volume of business activities had since its inception in 2014 increases expeditiously and built up a remarkable name in Sarawak.
